Within the town is one of the most well-known communities, the Pueblo de los Pescadores, its name is due to the fact that the town was previously mostly populated by fishermen, until foreigners started buying their houses improving them and converting them in private homes or in businesses.
Currently the town is the real nightlife of Las Terrenas, where you can enjoy from a quiet dinner, to a night of dancing, all in a charming setting that you only find here.
